Whether it is a wedding reception, corporate function or any other celebration, planning a special event can be a very challenging undertaking. I feel very strongly that the entertainment service that is hired by a client should be open to communication and willing to work around any reasonable obstacles that may be encountered. The entertainer that you choose should have the ability and willingness to answer your questions, provide suggestions, and coordinate formalities and introductions. It doesn't matter if you have 50 or 450 guests, at Celebrity Sound & Lighting the success of your event is the main focus!
This service was started because I enjoy music, lighting, and the satisfaction that comes from helping people celebrate an event that they and their guests will probably remember for the rest of their lives! It's extremely rewarding when a client takes the time to personally thank me or send a thank you letter because their special day went exactly as they had envisioned. It is also a great compliment when guests from previous events secure my service because they were impressed with the professionalism that was conveyed at the event they attended. I operate a single system service so only one client is served at any time. You are my only focus for your date and time frame! I feel that sending sub contracted entertainers to your event is like buying tickets to see a well known entertainer only to find someone else appearing on stage.
Many more hours are invested in my events than just the time that you see me on a stage or dance floor. I research and maintain equipment, review music and video selections, and go over details for upcoming events when not performing. Time is also spent with “in person”, telephone and email communication with clients. I have also attended entertainment conventions and seminars throughout the United States. My clients are provided with signed copies of their contract that indicates event date, starting and ending times, total charge, payment received etc. There is also a password protected event planner and song selection tool on my web site to help you submit important information related to your event 24 hours a day.
In addition to sound I also offer intelligent lighting and rear projection video screens for music videos and photo slide shows! Imagine one of your favorite musical groups performing on a 3’x4’ or 6’x8’ rear projection screen next to your dance floor or a slide show of a bride and groom showing them with friends and relatives throughout their childhood and their days together leading up to their wedding day! Profanity and explicit lyrics/video are avoided in our material and I have received compliments from all age groups regarding the video playback system.
I use some of the best professional equipment available. There is a difference in “professional” audio and lighting equipment and it is worth the investment to use the good stuff. My clients benefit from this! Since I do not sub contract my work I can tell you exactly what equipment will be used at your event.
At Celebrity Sound & Lighting you will work with the owner from your first consultation to the last announcement at your event. Slick, deceptive advertising is not what I offer. Honest, competent service is what is delivered. I have been providing great entertainment in southern Michigan since 1994 and am a long time member of The American Disc Jockey Association.
